First inspired by a shadow portrait I had commissions of myself by Jerry J Cook paperShadows From there I tried out my first papercut project of Asuna from Sword Art Online, and I fell in love with this new creative medium. My first piece was done with scissors, holding the color paper in the air on top of a image print out. I had many copies of the same image so I could recut different shapes of their hair when it overlapped the hair, clothing, or other hair.
